In Ukraine, the harrowing impact of the war on its animal population continues.<\/p>\n
In March 2022, Save the Dogs<\/em> began assisting a small number of partners near the border with Romania (particularly the associations in Odessa and Izmail).<\/p>\n As the war continued, the operation expanded to other areas where there were large numbers of animals in distress.<\/p>\n Today, the operation has spread to an even larger area of the country, including Kharkiv in the north-east, Mykolayv in the south and Kherson, just behind the Russian front line.<\/p> Since the beginning of the conflict, we have:<\/p>\n In Ukraine, the harrowing impact of the war on its animal population continues.
