This farmhouse also houses five other cats, two of which have already been sterilized by Save the Dogs<\/em>.

Micia has been welcomed by a foster family.<\/p><\/div>\n\nMicia\u2019s human companion is one of the more than 200 beneficiaries assisted by<\/strong> the<\/strong> Save the Dogs<\/em><\/strong>‘ Street Unit<\/strong>, which provides support for marginalized individuals. Back in August, Micia was attacked by a passing dog and sustained a severe back injury. Not knowing where to turn for help, her owner only reached out to us ten days later, thanks to the intervention of an acquaintance.\n\nWhen the Save the Dogs<\/em>\u2019s team stepped in, Micia was in a critical condition. She was extremely weak and was suffering from a badly infected wound. She was admitted to the Enpa clinic, where she was treated and her wound was surgically cleaned. However, the poor cat\u2019s hind legs were almost totally paralyzed. Subsequent transfer to a specialized clinic revealed that the infection had reached her spine. Thanks to targeted antibiotic therapy, Micia has made a surprising recovery, and eventually regained her ability to walk, albeit not without some difficulty.\n\nTo ensure her complete recovery and monitor her progress after the therapy treatment, Micia was temporarily placed with a foster family<\/strong>, offering her 24-hour care and a safe environment where she could fully heal. She was also sterilized during this time.
